Pinch Pot Bowls and Vases

Despite all the technology you can use in ceramics - you can even 3D print yourself a vessel if you want to - I think many of us potters return to this simplest of forms pretty often.

It’s the first thing you make as a child, in play-doh or modelling clay: a pinch pot. They are the product of hands and earth, and I can’t get enough of them.

These pots are found in all traditions, all over the world and have been made since humans first decided to make a vessel from this weird sticky earth they found.
